Mentoring and Outreach
SPM Development Services Ltd. offers a high-quality, personalised mentoring and outreach service on a 1-1 basis, both in person and online. This service provides young people with a safe, inclusive and nurturing space to explore, develop, plan and reflect on themselves, their goals, their values and their characters. This can be through different activities, such as:
- Self-care and wellbeing activities (such as support with getting a haircut, sleep hygiene or personal organisation skills)
- Social skills
- Life skills (for example learning about budgeting, applying for a bank account or using public transport independently)
- Academic mentoring
- Career planning
- Health and fitness (We work with qualified sports coaches in a variety of activities such as cricket, football, rugby and also strength and conditioning.)
Our aim is for the young people we work with to build self-confidence, raise self-esteem, foster independence and feel empowered to achieve positive change in their lives and reach their goals.
